Looking forward to 2020:
“The current climate remains challenging, and we mustn’t be complacent”
We recognise that we are going through a period of change, and that this can be challenging. Our business improvement’s and growth strategies are generating significant benefits via improved systems, processes and ways of working that will take us in to a very busy time for the company.
A&E Elkins Ltd continue to achieve growth expectations and enters 2020 with a very healthy pipeline of works on the horizon. The business has had a very positive 2019, with the Major Works division securing a considerable volume of new projects for 2020 for our London Borough of Southwark Client. The Team have secured circa £14m of schemes under the QHIP Programme, with a further £45m in schemes that remain in design stage to be delivered through 2020/21 financial years.
We have also began discussing the Year 6 Programme of works with LBS, which has a potential further 15 schemes currently under review.
Our Commercial Team have secured our place on the City of London Corporation- Minor Works Framework, and we expect to receive tender invitations for projects early next year.
Our recently procured contract with the Royal Borough of Greenwich is now gathering momentum, which sees the business diversifying into the New Build Construction Market, with the team working hard to get the first tranche of projects off the ground early in the new year.
Our R&M, Roofing and Windows Divisions continue to provide excellent levels of service to existing and new clients, with more contracts under review. All the above have been delivered with ever improving levels of Safety, Health and Environmental performance, with the team having the support and assistance provided by our dedicated HSEQ team, and this is paying dividends as is evidenced with our year end Accident and Incident statistics.
Thank you again for your continued hard work and continued support. 2020 will be an important year for the company as we embed the changes required, giving the business a stronger foundation for growth.
Merry Christmas, Chris…
