Alderwood & Anstridge Rd Project : Resident Newsletter No1
Welcome to your 1st newsletter…
We all hope you are keeping well during these unprecedented times. You may have noticed that we had to cease all works and closed the Alderwood Rd site following the COVID 19 outbreak.
We have been busy offsite working on safe working practices in accordance with the government guidelines and as you may have seen we are now back onsite.
We will issue regular newsletters which will provide an update on our progress including photos, details of our site team, important safety reminders and community news. If you need to contact our site manager Alex, his contact detail are at the bottom of the page.
Our sequencing of works…
Firstly, we will be disposing of the waste from all of the garages to enable the roof sheets to be removed, Following that the Garages will be demolished by hand and via a small excavator. The garages are of a lightweight construction and are not connected to the ground so there will be no vibration and minimal noise whilst these works are being carried out.
Please rest assured that no garages will be demolished until the relevant party wall notices have been agreed.
Important Safety Reminders…
Please remain vigilant when travelling by foot or by car on either Alderwood or Anstridge Rd, as we have a lot of waste to remove from site. Our traffic marshals will control all of our vehicle movements to ensure everybody’s safety, so please bear with us when we have vehicles entering or exiting the site.

The full demolition of the existing garages and the construction of new modular homes.
